The Bendheim Gallery

December 4, 2025 - January 9, 2026

The International Miniature Print Exhibition is a collaboration between the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, and the Greenwich Arts Council. It is a biennial project which receives entries from all across the world. The concept is to invite artists to submit original prints for exhibition consideration which measure no more than 4 inches square. Any hand printmaking is acceptable, and often artists use a combination of methods to produce compelling works. The format of this International Exhibition forces the artist to focus on the bare essentials of an image or concept.

Since its inception in 1997, the Miniature Print Exhibition has showcased the works of artists worldwide with renowned print curators and collectors serving as jurors. This year’s juror was Ann Shafer, an independent curator, art historian, and a leading expert on intaglio printmaking by Stanley William Hayter and Atelier 17. Shafer has a BA from The College of Wooster and a MA from Williams College, both in art history. In addition to the BMA, Ann has worked at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Williams College Museum of Art, and the National Gallery of Art.

For 2025, 416 prints were submitted by 173 artists from 19 countries and 23 states. Juror Ann Shafer selected 89 works by 89 artists from 11 countries and 21 states.
