Thank you for for participating in this year’s Art to the Avenue.
NEW THIS YEAR: the opportunity to have one of your pieces display in one of our galleries: Exhibition Dates: April 16 to May 10.(the opening reception for this exhibit: Thursday, April 16 | 5 to 7:30pm)
When do the stores choose their artists?
Retailers make their choices during the Art to the Avenue Preview Days: April 14-16. If you are NOT chosen during the preview days, the digital images you have submitted with your registration form will be used to assist with matching you with a retailer.
When do I need to bring my artwork for the Retailers’ Preview?
Sunday, April 12 between Noon to 3 pm or Monday, April 13 between 8:30 to 10:30 am or 5 to 7pm ONLY (No early drop-offs)
What do I need to bring for the Preview / Exhibition artwork drop off?
Please bring one artwork available for sale (original works only for the preview AND the actual event) to the Greenwich Arts Council: 299 Greenwich Avenue – Second Floor
(Because of space restrictions in our gallery, NO pieces larger than 40 X 40 (approx.) inches will be accepted for the preview!!).
Your piece MUST be wired and ready to be hung. No diptychs or triptychs permitted. You are welcome to bring a portfolio with your name clearly visible on its cover (to display near your art piece) with photos or copies of other pieces of your work available for sale.
When do I pick up my artwork and portfolio?
Please plan to pick up your artwork on Monday, May 11 from 10am to 7pm. Your artwork will stay at the Council in exhibition through May 10. Artists are invited to return on Thursday, April 16 from 5 to 7:30pm for a Reception with Light Refreshments.
How are Art to the Avenue sales handled?
All exhibited art must be for sale. The Arts Council receives 30% of each sale. To help defray the cost of organizing and promoting this event, all sales or commissions made as a result of Art to the Avenue (through August 31, 2025) must be handled solely through the Arts Council. The artist’s cooperation in this matter is paramount to your inclusion in future events.
