Our Partnering Programs
Kite Festival | April
Participants are encouraged to bring kites of all shapes and sizes, made of plastic, paper or fabric. Award ribbons are presented to all high fliers. This program is in partnership with the Town of Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation and Smart Kids Toys of Greenwich.
Art in Public Places
Art in Public Places is a special committee of the Greenwich Arts Council which oversees an ongoing program of conservation and maintenance of the public sculpture in Greenwich. The committee also assists the Town in selecting and siting newly acquired works.
A Brochure/Guide identifying all the outdoor sculptures in Town with a map showing their locations can de download here. This program is run with the support of the Town of Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreations.
Sand Blast | July
Sponsored by the Greenwich Arts Council and the Town of Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation, Meli-Melo of Greenwich and Beachmate, Sand Blast is a fun family event for all. There is no specific theme for sand sculptures, and participants are encouraged to indulge their imaginations enjoying the experience of creating art in the sand.
