The Reading Gallery

The Greenwich Arts Council is thrilled to unveil this exciting new permanent space celebrating the artistry, imagination, and magic of children’s books!

The Reading Gallery is a new, intimate, and calming space showcasing beloved artwork and literature by Eric Carle and Rosemary Wells, along with a curated selection of children’s books chosen by the Museum and Rosemary Wells. In collaboration with Diane’s Books of Greenwich, the gallery will also feature a thoughtfully curated collection of children’s books, ranging from cherished classics to exciting new publications.

To celebrate the opening of The Reading Gallery on Sunday, December 6, the Greenwich Arts Council will welcome renowned author Rosemary Wells, beloved creator of the Max and Ruby series.

We invite families, young readers, educators, and book lovers of all ages to come experience this special new space and celebrate the magic of children’s literature and illustration. We can’t wait to welcome you!
